Hi, I 'm Ashley Willis!
Please take a few minutes to read my story.
A journey rooted in creativity, shaped by a life-changing accident, and transformed through resilience, healing, and hope.
Where It All Began
My love for flowers and nature began in my childhood garden, where I spent years surrounded by the beautiful plants my mother grew. That early inspiration eventually blended with another passion of mine: woodworking.
Discovering My Craft
Throughout high school, I developed a strong work ethic through competitive cheerleading, wrestling, carpentry classes, and working at a local nursery. In my school’s advanced woodworking and remodeling programs, I discovered how much I loved transforming raw materials into something beautiful. After creating an epoxy table featuring preserved flowers, I realized I wanted to build a business combining woodworking, nature, and floral design.
Building My Dream
After graduation, I moved to Bend, Oregon, to work alongside my uncle in framing and finish carpentry. With access to his workshop, I began teaching myself new techniques and building my business. During my first year of selling, I participated in local festivals and holiday bazaars and received multiple custom orders for tables and cutting boards.
The Day Everything Changed
On May 7, 2025, my life changed when a driver experiencing a seizure struck my vehicle head-on. I suffered life-threatening injuries and spent four months in the hospital. My recovery included multiple surgeries, serious infections, extensive physical therapy, and relearning how to walk. I was unable to work for more than a year and feared I had lost the business I had worked so hard to build.
Finding My Way Back
Recovery has been a long and difficult journey, but I have continued rebuilding my strength and my life. Reconnecting with clients and returning to local festivals gave me a renewed sense of purpose and helped me find my way back to the work I love.
A Beautiful New Chapter
Today, I am once again creating meaningful pieces inspired by flowers and nature. My journey has shown me that something beautiful can be created from even the most difficult circumstances.
Thank you for being part of my next chapter.
